WE HAVE THE SOLUTION!
If you own a Domain Name(s) for your clan through a registar like NetSol.com, Register.com, or any number of other
cheaper domain name registars, we can CONVERGE YOUR DOMAIN NAME WITH YOUR CLANSITE.
We offer all Clansite Customers the ability to have their Domain Names CONVERGE with their Clantoolz.com Clansite.
BIG NOTE: Your Clansite will function COMPLETELY under the domain name you assign!
Turn your Clansite Domain into A Regular Domain Name:

So if you have a Clantoolz Clansite and own a Domain Name, Follow ALL of the instructions below to request a domain setup:
NOTES:
A) This IS NOT an instant process! If all information (SEE STEPS 1-4 BELOW) is in order, this can take up to 78 hours for us to finalize.
B) This is not simply FORWARDING A DOMAIN... this involves modification of an A (Address) record in DNS as well as configurations within our web servers and database. This process is more involved than a simple forward.
C) DO NOT SUBMIT A REQUEST WITHOUT HAVING STEP#2 COMPETED IN ONE OF THE TWO WAYS DEFINED.
Step 1:
BUY A DOMAIN NAME: If you don't own a domain name of your very own, don't expect us to point someone elses domain at your site.
You should already have this one taken care of, or at least be heading over to a registar right now to hook that up.
NOTE: If you are about to get a domain name right now make sure to set up the NAME SERVER portion (DNS-Domain Name Services) of the domain (see below for Name Server Information) at the same time, saving time will help speed up the turnaround time.
Step 2a or 2b:
CHANGE DNS or CHANGE NAME SERVERS:
To CONVERGE your clansite with your domain name either 2a) or 2b) must be completed.
We give you 2 options to accomplish this task.... follow 2a or 2b, but NOT BOTH!!
2a: Clantoolz is responsible for your domains name servers, but you must assign our name servers to your domain by going to your registrar and making the
appropriate changes to your domain record.
2b: You remain responsible for your domains name servers, and you will be responsible for making the
appropriate changes to your domain record through your registrar to allow Clantoolz to converge your clansite with your domain in our systems.
2a) CHANGE NAME SERVERS:
A) Do a whois for your domain name to verify your DOMAIN'S current name servers.
B) Login to your domain name account with your registrar and change name servers to the following:
NEW, UPDATED, AND IMPROVED (5-1-2009)

This is common practice and in no way affects the ownership of your domain, only who is responsible for
directing traffic to your domain. In this case us! When we have this authority we can then set up your domain to work seamlessly (CONVERGE) with your new clansite!
OR SECOND OPTION FOR ADVANCED USERS....
2b) CHANGE DNS "A" RECORD FOR YOUR DOMAIN:
A) Login to your domain name account with your registrar.
B) Go into DNS for your domain and change the IP# associated with your domain "A (Address)" record to 216.162.204.198
C) Check your domain www.yourdomain.com with IE to see if it is being directed (not forwarded/masked) to the clantoolz.com homepage.
D) This change may take time or be instant. Some networks take time to update.
E) In order to see the change you may also need to ipconfig/flushdns locally.
Step 3:
DOUBLE CHECK YOUR WORK: Verify 2A OR 2B are accomplished and complete.
In some cases the record may take a while to reflect the changes you made. Once you
have verified the changes have taken effect either by whois or by IE verification you are ready for set #4 and our domain setup form!
NOTE: We will not work on your domain setup until we can verify the required changes.
Step 4:
