BnG Announces BC2 Team

[BnG] will officially be fielding a Team for Bad Company 2 when a ladder is created. The structure and leadership of the Team is yet to be decided, however all those interested members, both old and new are of course welcome to join the team. Log into the forums and express your interest, and look out for the official sign-up email soon. For those that are off the email list (older team members), please keep an eye on this news page for sign-up details.
Bad Company 2 will be launched in March and several BnG members have been playing the Beta and reporting back with good reviews.
BnG looks forward to seeing the return of some of the older original Guts’ers to the Battelfield.
Be ready for March!

BnG to Host BloodBowl League

[BnG] in association with NBG (Desktop gamers run by Cougar) will be hosting a BloodBowl League Comp. So if you have this game, all [BnG] and NBG members are welcome to join. The league will begin on Friday the 19th of Feb with matches to be held weekly. You will need a Team of between 1000 and 1500 points. The League will be run in a pretty standard config with the format to be decided once we know how many teams will be playing.
 To join the League email NukeOrama@bloodnguts.net. I will then email you the League Name and Password.
If you are new to BloodBowl, don’t worry, most of those who have expressed interest in playing are new to the game as well. This should be a good bit fun in true Blood’nGuts style and while you can use any type of team you like, I expect to see lots of heavy hitting Chaos, Ork and Dwarf teams making a mess of the pitch. If there’s not more red than green on the field then you’re not worthy of the [BnG] League.

BnG Online Christmas Party Completed

The BnG Online Xmas Party 2009 has been completed after a chaotic night of sensless madness, alcohol and games that could only be described as the work of sheer insanity... however like all BnG Xmas Parties there where winners, and they are;
Highest Total Knife/Paddle Kills goes to Bollux, who wins a "tenny tiny Laser Travel Mouse for pwning tiny noobs while on the move".
The BnG Classic Warm up TK session was played out twice with ItalianStallion winning round one and Nutz winning round 2. Stallion gets a 4Gig USB Flash Drive and Nutz gets a spindle pack of 50 CD-R's.
Kill NukeyClaus was won by Nutz, who for his great efforts in killing BnG's captain, gets a "Netty" aka a tiny plastic guy sitting on a toilet seat using a laptop. it sticks to the side of your monitor and is used to hang a set of headphones on... awesome, just awesome.
Knife Nuke prize was played in two rounds and was won by Stallion and Bollux who both get a pack of blank CD-R's.
The NoobOvirus Outbreak comp was won by Nutz, who scores a decent prize, a dual surface Genius gaming mouse pad... lucky lucky Nutz.
...and finally CitizenChris wins the mystery prize for killing Nuke in the "podium dance" contest.
Thats it for BnG in 2009 folks. From the principal leaders of BnG in 2009 (me, Carn and Nutz) thank you to all who played in the various ladders this year.
BnG will be back in action in 2010. Until then I wish you all a safe and happy Christmas.
